December meeting date changes for Halton District School Board
Chair/Vice-Chair elections December 3; Special Board meeting December 10; delegation evening re: Oakville Ward 4 planned for January 14
December’s meeting schedule for the Halton District School Board has been modified slightly, to add a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, December 10. This is in addition to the Annual Organizational Meeting slated for Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
This additional meeting will allow trustees to deal with timely issues before the holiday break, and receive reports related to decisions facing the Board in the New Year.
An additional delegation meeting has been planned for early 2009. On Wednesday, January 14, 2009, trustees will hear delegations at a special evening scheduled specifically to hear community response with respect to the recent Oakville Ward 4 consultation process.
For more information regarding items coming before the Board during the next six weeks, please refer to the Board’s website: www.hdsb.ca and review the Board agenda packages. These agenda packages highlight items proposed for the upcoming meeting, as well as outline items coming to future meetings. Complete agenda packages (with reports) are posted the Friday prior to the meeting date.
